Hi,
Nice to see the addition of “Resize original images”. However it’s totally unclear when it supposed to work. And in at least one case – hosting is SiteGround – it does not work no matter which options I choose.
Does it need the “Automatically smush” enabled in order to work? If so, why it does not state so, and why it does not become grayed out when it should not work?
Does it work regardless of “Automaticall smush” option? I tried both cases and the original file still made to the library.
I would love to see that option work, but I am not able to make it do so. And I am confused about if I properly configured it. It did not work for me, and it did not explain, why it did not work.
Hope to see some answers and advise how to make it realy Resize, preferably regardless of “Automatically smush” option On or Off.
